Tramel: Jim Harbaugh gaming the system, which Dez Bryant didn't get the chance to do

Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh lied to NCAA investigators, could be in serious trouble with the NCAA’s committee on infractions and might parachute into the National Football League with no repercussions.

Too bad that scenario wasn’t available to Dez Bryant.

In 2009, Bryant played three games for OSU, then was ruled ineligible for misleading NCAA enforcement officials investigating his relationship with Deion Sanders, now the Colorado coach but then a retired NFL star with no collegiate ties.

The NCAA alleges that Harbaugh had contact with potential recruits during a dead period in 2020.
