The Wisconsin Badgers are set to kick off their new year on Tuesday when they host the Iowa Hawkeyes at the Kohl Center to begin the major stretch of conference play.
In the recent AP Top 25 rankings, the Badgers, holding a 9-3 record, climbed up to No. 21 after two teams fell behind them.
The Hawkeyes have started their season 8-5, most recently defeating Northern Illinois in a 103-74 blowout.
Iowa struggled early in the season, losing five matchups in an eight-game stretch, including three in a row, before finishing conference play on a three-game win streak.
